I just finished a really neat project. The Preservation Jazz Hall Band needed a couple of new base drum heads painted for their touring gear. They are hand painted to recreate the original drum that sits in the Hall today.
They have been up to some really great stuff lately-their last record featured duets with various artists you might not associate with traditional jazz like Tom Waits and Steve Earle. And they just recorded a funky rewrite of "It Ain't My Fault" with Mos Def, Lenny Kravitz and Trombone Shorty to benefit Gulf Aid. You can watch the video HERE on You Tube or buy it on ITunes-it's awesome.
